For re-accreditation in the program, the supervisor must comply with the criteria of the PPGEE Internal Regulations and the criteria of the UNIFESP Graduate Studies and Research Council (CaPGPq).
PPGEE Criteria
CHAPTER V of the PPGEE Internal Regulations
Art. 18 - PPGEE supervisors must hold a doctoral degree.
Sole paragraph. The scientific, artistic or technological production of the supervisor is a mandatory criterion in the evaluation of accreditation and re-accreditation.
Art. 19 - Approval of accreditation and disaccreditation will be made by the CPGPq, at the request of the CEPG to the CaPGPq of the Unifesp Diadema Campus, which will make an assessment for its forwarding.
§ 1º. Applications for accreditation and re-accreditation will be analyzed by the CaPGPq of the Unifesp Diadema Campus.
§ 2º. Re-accreditation will be carried out on a continuous basis, in accordance with the rules established by the Unifesp Diadema Campus CaPGPq.
§ 3º. In the event that a supervisor's re-accreditation is not approved, he/she may, at the CEPG's discretion, complete ongoing supervision, but may not accept new students.
Art. 21 - Special criteria for re-accreditation of supervisors in the PPGEE:
I. have a defined line of research demonstrated by the publication of 4 articles (linked to the line of research) in the last 4 years indexed and classified in Web of Science or Scopus, with at least 2 of them being first author, last author or corresponding author. It is recommended that at least one of these articles involves PPGEE students;
II. demonstrate the ability to attract funding (public or private) for their line of research;
III. have supervised at least 1 dissertation at the PPGEE in the last 4 years of the application for re-accreditation;
IV. have been responsible for or collaborated in at least two editions of courses offered at the PPGEE in the last 4 years of the application for re-accreditation;
V. guidance of undergraduate students in the last 4 years of the application for re-accreditation is recommended.
Art. 22: Supervisors who fail to meet the criteria for re-accreditation set out in Art. 21 will be automatically disqualified from the PPGEE, except in exceptional cases which will be judged by the CEPG at the request of the supervisor.
Minimum Criteria Required by the Diadema Campus CaPGPq for the Accreditation and Re-Accreditation of Supervisor(s)
Art. 4 - The re-accreditation of supervisors is the responsibility of the CEPG, and is carried out in a continuous flow every four (4) years, from the initial date of
date of the supervisor's accreditation or re-accreditation. The minimum criteria required for the re-accreditation of supervisors are:
I. Have technical and scientific production, preferably with the participation of students supervised/co-supervised by the professor, compatible for
maintaining the PPG's level within the CAPES Evaluation Area;
II. Proof of participation or coordination in funded or unfunded research projects, current or completed, considering the accreditation period;
III. Have supervised at least one (01) student at postgraduate level in the last four years;
IV. Have taught at least 40 hours of PPG courses in the last four years;
V. Have complied with all requests from the PPG Coordination to collect data for Coleta CAPES (Sucupira Platform) or others of interest to the PPG.
